WORD of the DAY
Amen, I say to you, whoever does not accept the kingdom of God like a child will not enter it. (Mark 10: 15)
Jesus shows Himself to be welcoming and understanding toward the children. The disciples, instead, want to send them away, perhaps because of their exuberant joy. Jesus gives them as an example for the disciples: with their trust in adults, their simplicity, their acceptance of all that is good and beautiful, they become the symbol of the true disciple who entrusts self totally to God, and opens self to the mystery of divine life.
They do not make egotistical calculations, but are open to generosity and to tenderness. Let us rediscover in our adult life, the ‘heart of a child’ that is really always present in our soul. Let us open our heart wide to Christ so that He may come in and change our life.
O Lord, let me find the heart of a child to discover the beauty and joy of Your Love!

The Lord is looking at you with love. He looks with even greater tender love on those who are weaker.
