Sixteenth Wednesday of Ordinary Time

Feast of St. Mary Magdalene

“WHOM ARE YOU LOOKING FOR?”                       (John 20, 1-2/11-18)

 Whom are you looking for?

An existential question begging an answer.                                                    Magdalene

Whom are you seeking

in your ceaseless wanderings?

Whom are you desiring

to satisfy your ferocious longing?

There is only One to Light

that darkest dark!

One Alone can save

from abysmal sadness!

 Turn, as Mary did.

Hear the familiar Voice

calling you by name.

Look at Him while He still can be found.

Seek Him while He is so near.

Embrace Him with all your might

And never let Him go!
